DAMMAM: Saudi Aramco plans to raise the Saudization of industries to 70 percent, according to an integrated plan to develop jobs for young Saudis, along with the full respect to the national product quality.
The vice president of procurement at the company, Nasser Al-Yami, said the company began applying the Saudization plan with its partners, including the Saudi Power Transformer Company.
Saudi Aramco is seeking to raise the domestic production to reach 70 percent by developing an integrated plan, according to Al-Yami, during the launch of the first high voltage, 115-volt, electrical transformer at the Second Industrial City in Dammam.
Al-Yami added that the goal is to employ young Saudis in the sector, adding that this comes with full respect for national product quality.
